Advancing Opportunity

The native plant industry is full of potential, yet still unknown to most people, including gardeners, landscapers, and garden centers. We tell the stories of the people and businesses behind the plants, as in this video featuring Florida’s native plant industry.

Driving Demand

We funded the first all native episode of a new reality TV series, Flip My Florida Yard, from Emmy award-winning producer Chad Crawford. The show promotes water conservation through better plant choices and landscape design.

Engaging Young People

We involve young people in native plant industry events and programs, and help them pursue formal and informal education opportunities, develop valuable career contacts, and bring innovation and new leadership to the industry.

Training the Next Generation

Research shows that landscape architects have the greatest influence on plant selection. We support student landscape architects with professional consultation so they can develop native plant selection skills early in their careers.

Developing the Industry

To inspire native plant professionals to collaborate, innovate and transform the industry, we support industry events that encourage information sharing and the development of new ideas and solutions for advancing native plants.
