Description: Cherice Jones is an aspiring professor of English and Literature, graduating with a bachelor's from the University at Albany in 2016. Before attending UAlbany she studied at Hudson Valley Community College where she completed her Associate’s degree. There she worked as an event coordinator for the MSA and also worked as a Writing Specialist in the Hudson Valley Library. Whilst attending Hudson Valley she also worked on promoting Islamic awareness in her campus and outside of campus through the MSA and through her community Youth Group. Being the first female elected president of the group, she began creating events, generating discussion topic ideas and assisting in the coordination of community volunteer work. She places a heavy emphasis on education and inspiration for others and hopes to become a resource to the community and her future students.
