Description: Kawther graduated with a Government major and Arabic and Justice and Peace Studies double minor from Georgetown University. When the Gates Millennium and Coca Cola Scholar is not gushing about Atlanta or her time abroad in Amman, Kawther can be found working to bring communities together. She served as President of the Muslim Student Association, held positions in the Georgetown Scholars Program, and was part of the Student of Color Alliance. She was a policy and advocacy intern at MPAC and gained hands-on experience on the Hill in 2019 through ISF, particularly in a moment with many women of color in office.
