Opportunities to Support in Every Season

Join Friends of Wehr for one of our fundraising events to help reach our goal of becoming the most accessible nature space in Southeastern Wisconsin. Enjoy tasty food and an auction at one of our fundraising dinners. Visit our plant sale in the spring to find beautiful additions to your landscape. Peruse local vendors and sip wine at our Ladies Night Out. Bring your family to our Cider Sunday event to celebrate all things apple!

Mother's Day Weekend Plant Sale

Pre-orders due in April Beautify your yard with native plants from the Friends of Wehr’s annual sale. Nursery grown native wildflowers suitable for sun or shade, wet or dry will be sold in 4-inch pots. Items for sale include spring ephemerals, prairie plants, woodland plants, and a few wetland plant species. This is a very popular sale, so come early for the best selections. Pre-order forms due April 22.

Payment accepted at the time of pick-up only.

Summer Solstice

Help us celebrate the longest day of the year. Join us at sunset for the lighting of the traditional summer solstice bonfire. Enjoy small plate dining and desserts and browse the silent auction that supports Wehr’s programs and facilities.

Wehr Naturally Series

From cooking to painting to journaling, Wehr Naturally Series pulls the connection to nature into unique workshops. No experience needed. Workshops features a guest expert to guide you through and includes all materials.

Ladies Night Out

Time to kick back, relax and enjoy an evening designed especially for you! Bring some friends for a night of perusing local vendors and sipping wine all in a natural setting. A silent auction and raffle will raise funds for FOW’s Accessibility Project.
